This nice flat spot has been ready since Thursday afternoon for the foundation to be poured. Foundation guy didn't come on Friday and I'm guessing nothing will happen until Monday at least. Doug is standing by the front corner stake.

laundry with view
Here's the view of the house from the little shed. Of course, once the house is actually there the laundry room will be in it and the little shed will be rakes, shovels, pots, wintering over spot and whatever else will fit in it.

Wow! Looks nice and flat! I can't wait to see progress on actual improvement instead of always seeing destruction. Thanks for blogging so faithfully. This has been really fun to be a part of.

hehe, view of the house, except for the crucial point that the house ISN'T THERE! That's a lot of dirt... so far I'm having a hard time visualizing the lupines and redclovers.
